Community Caroling: Piketon Jasper UMC invites carolers to sing at local nursing homes

Pike County News-Watchman - 12/6/2017

The Piketon Jasper United Methodist Church invites locals to join in a church choir and sing Christmas carols during the church's annual Christmas Caroling event at three local nursing homes on Wednesday, Dec. 13. At noon, the carolers will meet at Piketon Jasper United Methodist Church, located at 619 E. Second Street in Piketon. From there, the group will travel to sing at Traditions Nursing Home at Bristol Village at 1 p.m., Pleasant Hill Nursing Home in Piketon at 2 p.m., and Piketon Nursing Center at 3 p.m. "After caroling, everyone is invited to return to the church for a pizza party and a rousing game of Merry Christmas Bingo," said Sarah Brushart, choir director. "It is requested that the carolers wear black slacks and a red top. Santa hats, jingle bells, and tambourines are optional." For questions, or if interested in participating, call Sarah Brushart at (740) 289-2247.
