BRIEF: Tell us your nursing home story

Dayton Daily News - 8/3/2018

Aug. 03--New federal data shows how many nurses and aides there are per patient at every nursing home in the U.S.

A new analysis of payroll data from U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services shows for each facility how many nurses there were on the best staff days and the worst staff days, breaking the data out for registered nurses and aides.

If you are staying in an area nursing home or your loved one is, we'd like to hear from you. Is it easy or difficult to get care from a nurse when needed? When choosing a nursing home, did you look at staffing?

If you are a nurse or aide working at a local nursing home, we'd also like to hear from you. What's the staffing like? What kind of patient ratios do you work with?
