Baldwin Bridge State Boat Launch in Old Saybrook to close next week for repairs

Apr. 28—OLD SAYBROOK — Baldwin Bridge State Boat Launch will temporarily close for renovations May 2 to 6, according to The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
The renovation work includes disposal of the existing, deteriorated timber floating docks and the installation of a new Americans With Disabilities Act-compliant floating dock system, according to a press release.
While the renovations are taking place, boaters and anglers may use the following area boat launches, all in Old Lyme: Four Mile River, Great Island and Lieutenant River. For additional state-owned boat launches, visit bit.ly/38usWgw or go to portal.ct.gov/DEEP.
